The point is..there is a diff in turning down a prime, ww with a title who was ranked #1 under the champ for a year or so... then turning down a past his prime guy w/ no title , a recent loss to someone you just stopped...who was just figting at JMW anyways....

If Marg wants to prove he is the best WW, he doesnt need Shane..

Margarito is a great fighter, but this wining and complaining is getting out of hand. Turning down 2 million, for a fight he should win handily? Cotto lost to Margarito, so he should take a backseat for a while. I thought a Mosley fight made perfect sense because some people thought he won the Cotto fight.

For him to even compare what Floyd did to what margarito is doing is asinine. Floyd's business moves made him the highest paid athlete in 2007. Margarito's moves will have everyone scratching his head. GBP offers Cotto a sweatheart deal to rematch Shane and Margarito is left out in the blistering cold.

I just want 1 Margarito fan to be honest and say Margarito didnt take the fight with Shane cause he couldnt justify taking $2 million against Shane while running away from twice as much to rematch Williams.

You paint an awkward picture. Mayweather turned down Margarito to make more money fighting the linear champ and a easy fight. Margarito called Shane out then ducked him. And at this point in both of their careers, Shane is STILL a bigger name than Margarito despite Margarito having a belt.
