and also mind you this was in LA not too far from his hometown of Pomona and his first fight in the LA since I think DLH I so there should have been far more than the about 3500 who showed

and also let me spin this back to you

who is a bigger name? Mayorga or PWill?
i don't know none of them are that big but i guess i would have to say mayorga.
tickets at a ppv event are more expensive than a fight that is broadcast for free.

if margarito sells out as many arenas as you all make it seem than why does he not get paid more than he does? why did it take his entire career to get a buzz if all these people go to see him fight?

        My point has been proven.

Tony fighting Shane at this stage of Mosleys career doesn't do much or nothing for his resume because after the fight, "Shane was too old and past his prime, why doesn't he fight other guys in their prime".

If you don't believe me, check the words of the board from two weeks ago.

Would I still like to see it? Sure, I'm a boxing fan, but this fight has never really generated any interest from me at all. I'd rather see Tony vs prime welterweights just like I do for every other fighter in his prime.

bad promoter and lets not twist my words please

nowhere did I say he sells out every arena or many

in fact his star power is recent and I think IMO this is common knowledge

                HOWEVER like I stated before

as of RIGHT NOW he is a bigger draw than Mosley even in Mosley's hometown and with a lesser known opponent.

I know considering the amount of time Shane has been on TV its hard to fathom but its true. Shane has never been an A side fighter I mean look at the big name fights he has and tell me which fight he was the actualy A side?

remember he fought Winky when no one knew Wink outside of the hardcore fanbase so he doesn't count. Same with Viper.

                  wow

well at least I know the level I am debating with

its debatable if these guys are even the best 140lb fighters period

no way in hell would this have ever been a PPV.

i am not talking directly to you so i was not twisting any of your words.
shane fighting winky and vernon forrest is similar to shane fighting margarito except forrest and winky are both better than margarito and margarito is a little more known than they were when they fought shane
