    Margarito DOES have a point...

As much as some of you may hate to hear it, Margarito has a pretty good point.

There is absolutely no reason this fight should be split 50-50. Margarito should be earning a muuuuuuuuuuuuch larger portion of the cash. We're talking 65-35 at LEAST IMO.

I mean, Mosley hasnt beaten anybody lately, while Margarito has beaten 2 top ten welterweights, one of which was ranked #1 and was THE champion of the division...

From what i gather HBO gave GBP and Top rank the same budget, GBP has to pay mosley from the monies and Top rank had to agree the monies with Margarito.

If anyone is lying to Margarito then it has to be Arum or top rank (Rito's promoter not GBP).

Thats what I gather from it as well. Similar to Don King and Mayorga in that King got a large cut of the money from the DLH fight.

If HBO gave GBP 4 million dollars for the fight and 4 million dollars to top rank, Both promoter have to agree a deal with their fighter from the money on the table.

If Arum want to pay Margarito 3 million out of the 4 million on the table then it has nothing to do with GBP or HBO, But it seem GBP was able to agree a deal with Mosley while Arum wasnt able to agree a deal with Rito.

50 - 50 is a fair split. Margarito ain't no legend in the sport, he needs to get off his high horses. All he brings is a belt, Mosley is a future Hall of famer who could possibly do ALOT to Margarito's career. Besides 2million dollars is more money then Margarito have EVER earned.

If GBP is in it, I expect a high profile name fight, with a ridiculously ****ty undercard for $49.99.

Ideally you'd say it should be even, but one fighter is Sugar Shane Mosley and the other is not. Mosley is the bigger draw of the two(even though he's not a huge draw) regardless of what both fighters have done lately. And it's good money for Margarito. There aren't many fights around where he could get a better offer.

Before saying either part has a point, we should really wait for Margarito to speak about it

                    i completely disagree.

At the current Moment, Margarito is more popular then Mosley although Mosley is definetly the more respected name in the sport
