cotto got a bigger cut fighting mosley than margarito will, b/c cotto was and still is a bigger name than margarito, also cotto was an undefeated champion when that match took place, and shane was billed as cotto's toughest fight to date............

bottom line is, there's not as much money or interest in this fight b/c margarito is not as big as cotto, shane is older, margarito is not an undefeated champ, and this fight no1 expects to be margarito's toughest to date. It sucks that this fight didn't go through because I was looking forward to it. It makes me laugh though because I though Marg was willing to fight anybody, anytime, anywhere. Now he's pissed about that he's not getting enough money. Oh the irony on that one. He passed up a good check with Williams and now passes on Mosely. Marg huggers were all over Floyd for not taking a fight with him, but now he does the same thing. After this who else out there could get him a big payday. A victory over Shane would have gotten him more cred and even more money in his next fight. It seems he wasn't willing to take that chance.
