A top 10 ATG? For him to be that he would have to beat all 3 of them. If he beats Williams I doubt it does much but a win over Margarito or Cotto if Cotto beats Marg in a rematch would possibly make him in the 20-25 range. Wins over both he would probably be in the teens. Would be really tough for Money May to be top 10 though.

        I am talking about winning EASY. Like 10 - 2, 9 - 3, or Hatton Style.

A win with No Controversy at all.

He's top 50 all time but no way will he be top 10 all time just by beating one guy at ww; he'd have to do alot more than that

I still say he would be in the 20-25 range. Boxing is all about styles and I think Mayweather would have to face all threats and styles to get into the top 10. Think about it, Sugar Ray Leonard is a borderline top 10(I think he is top 10)and look at his career and the ATG's he beat. Mayweathers resume isnt as good as his with just one more win on it.

But Joe has to face the best one, and that's that? Yawn.

Anyway, it would depend, if it was one fight and then retiring again I'd be unsure, especially if a bigger fight could have easily been landed.

But if it was a top guy, whom was debatably maybe the biggest of the 3 and there was no consensus anyway, then yes I would respect him loads for it. Infact, even if they were only slightly less favoured I still would be satisfied.

So the question is, if he came back for one last fight, and easily beat (wide UD, or TKO) either Williams, Cotto, or Margs, would that satisfy you?

Would that make his claim as an ATG (Top 10), or do you think that he will still have too much unfinished business?

Just a conversation I has today. Just wondering what you guys would think.

                    top 10 ATG

the guys best win is a 34 year old ODLH with 5 losses the rest of his record is padded up with solid wins but nothing spectacular

OH ****; I didn't read it right. Top 10 All time??

Eh...Floyd would have to beat Williams, Margarito, not really sure he needs Cotto. Maybe move up to 54 and beat Forrest. Still not sure where I would put him. There are so many great fighters in the history of this sport.

                      He should just fight Calzaghe
