Jeff Lacy is no longer ruined by Calzaghe. He looked alright Sat. Night. I think he's the same as pre-Calzaghe. Taylor is just so much better.

Maybe you didn't understand what I posted. He's ALWAYS been that way. I'm just saying that he was no longer "ruined" by Calzaghe. I saw a big difference in his swag then fom say the Manfredo fight, or the Mendoza fight. Jermain would've beat him at any point in Lacy's career.

I think he's on the comeback but if he goes after Calzaghe he's barking up the wrong tree. I think he should fight Kessler first and if he wins that fight impressively then go after Joe. Right now I think Joe will expose him and pretty much ruin him at this stage of his career. Joe is at 175 why not fight Dawson? That fight would make way better sense.

I agree, Calzaghe is naturally bigger then taylor. Has better stamina, throws more punches... Calzaghe does almost everything better then taylor, except at this point of time, I'd probably say Taylor might have a little bit more power. But power doesn't really do **** if the guy infront of you won't stop throwing his punches.

Great post as ususal lefty. I havent seen the fight I dont know if it's worth it. At least I got this nice update from you.

I am sure Taylor will look better next time out having shed the rust and I personally look forward to seeing him take on one of the guys with a 'world' title.

Lacy beat robin reid though, I've always consider robin reid to be a pretty decent fighter. In my opinion, that is probably his best win on his resume... Other then that everyone else is kind of ****, except omar sheika who is also a good name.

So, I found two good names on lacys resume that he beat. Sheika and Reid. Now are they great fighters? No, but Sheika was pretty bad ass one time.

I agree sir but sometimes an average fighter with a good chin can beat a good fighter with a glass jaw you know what I mean Larry? Like said in ROcky it is not how hard you can hit but how hard you can get hit and keep coming forward. Lacy proved to me that he would give some serious trouble to others at 168 Jermain s better then most of the top guys......Lefty
