Hopkins was higher in the P4P list and he come off beating Winky and Tarver. Joe had to move up weight and won(controversial)

Kessler on the other hand beat two nobodies and was not on the P4P list.

Just becasue Kessler was in his prime doesn't mean he was the better win.
Hopkins has done more before and after the Calzaghe fight than Kessler done in his career.

I am taking situational factors into account. Personally I thought Hopkins was awful in that fight. I don't think it is very difficult to beat a guy who throws 3 or 4 punches a round for most of the fight.

I agree that Hopkins is a better fighter than Kessler, but I thought Kesserl was the tougher win for Calzaghe.
