Does anyone actually still believe Lacy was a good win for slappy boy?

the version who fought calz was better then he is today. lacy is injured and still won 1 round against taylor

I accept that, but I still don't put it out there as a great win.

I actually think Lacy was one of the best wins of Calzaghe's career, better than a win over shot Jones. Lacy was good when he fought Calzaghe. His left arm hadn't separated, he was still youthful, powerful and was not discouraged. We cannot be certain but I believe that he RUINED Lacy, not that Lacy was bad to begin with.

Yes, still a very good win, Lacy was highly regarded as the next big thing, people even went as far as saying he would beat Hopkins, and he would clean up the SMW and the LHW division.

It wasn't really a big scalp on his record but it showed how underrated Joe was at the time the way he completely owned Lacy.

Lacy has NOT been the same post Calzaghe.. He no longer seems to have a plan.. No ability to adjust.. and zero confidence in his punches.. Pre Calzaghe, he had all of those things..Plus an aura that struck fear into his opponents that often beat them before the fight even started..

Lacy is not Calzaghe's biggest win.. But it is a Damn good win.. A shutout and schooling of a Champion..

Taylor got the left-overs and still couldn't do as good as calzaghe. Calzaghe won every single round and even dropped lacy(push dropped, still dropped him)... And it counted as a knock down. And Lacy was bloody as hell on his eyes. Taylor lost a round and had to clinch the majority of the fight.

Hopkins was higher in the P4P list and he come off beating Winky and Tarver. Joe had to move up weight and won(controversial)

Kessler on the other hand beat two nobodies and was not on the P4P list.
