LIGHT-HEAVYWEIGHT and SUPER MIDDLEWEIGHT NEEEEEEEEEEEED Smaller Gloves

Their fights are SOOOOO devoid of drama its embarrassing.

You can land HUGE shot after HUGE shot right on the chin, and half the time the fighters aren't even hurt.

If you take 2 ounces off of the gloves, it's a whole new ball game.

The same thing goes for the really small weight classes like 105 and 108 pounds need smaller gloves as well. 6 ounce gloves are banned but i think for these really small guys they should be re-instated.

I found myself bored out of my mind last night for the Taylor-Lacy fight, when in fact that should have been a very exciting fight. Taylor was landing BOMBS but rarely was Lacy badly hurt. Only twice in the whole fight.

There's a reason they are banned, and that reason is brain damage.

studies have been done and this is completely untrue. it is the COMPLETE opposite.

if u get KO'd in 1 round, u recieve far less damage to ur head then if u go the full 12 rounds. FAAAAAAR less.

Had these gloves been smaller, Lacy might get stopped in the third round instead of being able to survive and instead getting beat up for 12 rounds very very badly.

Smaller gloves means more damaged hands means fighters would be wary to throw anything big.

saying roy should just ko the guy instead of slowly pummelling him, it could avoid permenant or long term damage

no cause its not like we are going from 10 ounces to 4 ounces. The 8 ounce gloves they should be using would still provide very much the cushion their hands need, while letting each shot provide a much stronger punch
