Did you watch the fight? Haye was hitting the side of Barrett's head whereas Barrett was hitting the back of Haye's. I thought Haye should have been warned for his late swing at Barrett and the points deduction was perhaps a bit harsh, but less harsh than your verdict on the fight.

      Wlad-Ibragmov anyone?

Er, cause thats what he did at CW right? Fight a live ex champ in his 10th or so fight and work his way up the ratings before fighting the true champion in his back yard then unifying to please the fans.

Haye is one of the guys doing it the right way. He isn't good enough to beat eithe of the Klits IMO but he is a breath of fresh air in big man boxing. It's pretty pathetic how a few of the usually good posters are acting like c*cks about this.

I dont see what everybodys moaning about.

biased ref? when haye threw punches in the clinch he would hit the side of barretts head but when barrett got pissed and threw punches in the clinch he would hit the back of hayes head.

the first time haye got kd that was a slip. i watched it on a hd tv but the second kd haye was kncoked down but took an uneccessary punch while he was on the deck.

i thought it was a very entertaining fight.

I thought it was a good fight Haye was impressive with the counter right hands, He had plenty of speed and power but his chin is still weak but every Haye fan knows that, I thought it was a very good fight i am looking forward to Wlad vs Haye.

why thank you! i liked the way vitali smiled at haye in post fight interview.
he knows haye is just jiving.
i see the wild hype coming on like it did with khan and hamed.

he he hee. it took cliff couser two rounds to ko barrett.
                whats that tell you.

i really dont see what was wrong with the performance, it was a very good win for haye.

for those saying that barret lost because of the food he was given and his accomadation, david haye stayed in the same hotel for the maccarinelli fight, and knocked enzo out in two rounds.

cliff couser might have knocked out barret in two, but everyone seems to forget the fact that barret knocked him out in two in the rematch.

also, people are talking about how poor hayes defence is, and how his low left hand will be the cause of his defeat, but watch the vitali - peter fight. you will see that vitali does exactly the same thing throughout the whole fight. I am not saying that it is ok to hoold your left hand this low, but haye has just as much chance of exploiting vitalis weakness as vitali does of doing it to haye.

if he was american. . .he'd be a god on this site

Haye looked awesome, not ready for the klitschskos but saying that he looked a lot better than klitschsko did against barrett. give him ibragimov, valuev, or peter soon, then wlad late 2009

where is the wild hype? He put on an exciting fight and KD his guy 5 times - nobody is seriously saying that the performance marks him out as a clear HW champ of the future. But to second guess his intentions when he has already proved he is a boxer who takes on the best is shoddy work.

Shoot down fanboys all you like but talk crap about Haye and expect to get shot down yourself.
