Paul Williams, Goossen Respond To Margarito-Mosley

You are an idiot. You're a Margarito hater up the ass man. Does it hurt you that Margarito is ranked number 1 by just about everyone that matters to the sport? Funny how when a non mexican/euro guy ducks someone, not much **** is talked about, but when its those two, all hell breaks lose with the name calling.

Ok, put yourself in Margarito's shoes for a minute. Lets say you lost a fight and wanted a rematch, that guy said hell no **** you let me look for someone else. Wouldn't you get pissed at it?? I would, especially when I had to work my way back up and someone wants to cut in line to the top.

You want to talk about Margarito being a bum. How the hell does being a champion for years and years makes you a bum???

Your scenerio is completely idiotic at best. Let's look at it from Williams standpoint. Let's say you sparred with this dude, he tried to rough you up. The next day, you beat the breaks off him and his trainer pays you for the week and sends you home. You decide that nobody else's organization matters, you fight to become the mandatory for that fighter and once you do, this guy takes 3 fights instead of facing you, his mandatory. Then when the organization threatens to strip him of his title, he petitions to have a non-title fight, then a fight with his stablemate, THEN face you about a year and a half down the line, in essence avoiding you for 2 years in order not to face his mandatory. He finally decides to fight you, and you go in the ring with bruised ribs and STILL box his ears off even though you are fighting in pain. Afterwards, you decide you want to unify the division and seek a fight with one of the other champions in the division. That champion injures himself, and instead of taking on a no name like the previous champion was use to doing (Antonio Diaz, Danny Perez, Andrew Lewis, Maurice Brantley, Hercules Kyvelos, Sebastian Andres Lujan, Manuel Gomez), you face former WBA champion Carlos Quintana. You lose, make no excuses, enforce your rematch clause, blow the guy out in round 1. You then seek to give the guy you beat a rematch and offer him his highest payday (the previous being the $1.6 million he made for fighting you the first time), and the guy, his promoter, adn all his fans come up with 1 million and 1 excuses why the fight shouldnt happen. You move on and face fighters in higher weight classes and sign to fight the champion of the division north of yours, while the other guy disappears after finding out his promoter doesnt give a flying **** about him and keeps giving him offers lower then the one you and your promoter offered him to get that ass whooped again.

Now THATS a better scenerio. And as I said, ANYBODY can be a champion for years when you faced a string of bums. Can you tell me which one of these fighters (Antonio Diaz, Danny Perez, Andrew Lewis, Maurice Brantley, Hercules Kyvelos, Sebastian Andres Lujan, Manuel Gomez) were champions, had a decent record, or will make it to the Hall of Fame?

This topic always makes for interesting discussion since Marg-Pwill 2 is probably the biggest fight to be made right now, but there's nothin new that can really be said. None of these guys are scared of each other, they're just tryin to make sure their fights suit their agendas. The fight will happen in '09 as long as Pwill nor Marg lose to anybody else. This really all started when Marg beat Cotto for the top WW spot and PBF's fans saw a chance to start attackin him for his anti Floyd talk by jumpin on Pwill's ****. I don't think anybody seriously believes Marg is scared of a 2nd Pwill fight or Pwill is scared of a 3rd CQ fight. And BTW, yo Boxingscribe, are you a Boof******* alt homey?

No excuses for losing to Quintana?? Last I've heard PW was saying he had an off night and yadda yadda yadda. If you believe sparring rumors then go ahead buddy lol. I've never ever believed not once a sparring rumor unless I see it with my own 2 eyes.

You want to talk about no names....who has PW fought apart from Quintana and Margarito?? Mitchell?? How many of PW's opponents were champions or future HOFs??? Who has atleast defended a title ONCE successfully?? Sign to fight the champion above your weight? Last I've heard the Phillips fight was for an interm belt.

You also have to realize that Margarito prob wants to face PW BUT the promoters are the ones getting in the way of things. You do remember that Arum tried to sue Margarito for fighting Williams right?? Why would he risk that again? Would you?

I aint Boof******* and I certainly aint a Floyd Mayweather fan by any means. I hate that dude. Real talk. I think he is a BUM CHASER. And the fact that it seems to escape the boxing world that outside of Baldomir, and Oscar, EVERYONE he fought above 135 was SMALLER then he was.

PW certainly isnt afraid of a 3rd fight with Quintana because he actually fought a REMATCH. There wasnt a whole lot of money in it for him, but he wanted the loss to Quintana forgotten and he did so with a spectacular knockout that Margarito fans and Boriqua's define as Carlos being "cold". Yeah, as in OUT COLD. Margarito on the other hand passed on a career high payday to avoid the rematch.

As I said before, if PW did the same exact thing to Quintana as Margarito is doing to him, Margarito fans would have been LIVID. But since Margarito beat Cotto, this justifies him not wanting to defend a loss. If that aint a bunch of bovine scatology if I have ever heard it.

The fact is, when you look at their records, PW has 1 loss. And that loss was avenged. Margarito has 5. NONE of those were avenged. And in Margarito's loss column, there is PWs name. And in PWs win column, there is Margarito's name. Nothign says anything about slapping, running, or Margarito starting late. It will simply say he LOST.
