A feeble attempt at defending Fraudgarito. Lets dismiss the rumors. You are right, I didnt see it. Tony denied it happend. So lets say it never did. PW became Margarito's mandatory when he knocked out Walter Mattyse. Margarito waits an entire year and some change before he accepts the fight after successfully petitioning the WBO for a non-title fight, a unification fight with Cotto, THEN a fight with PW which would have been a full 2 years and some change after PW became his mandatory. Williams in turned fought who faced him. Margarito sat back PRAYING for him to lose so he wouldnt have to. It took the WBO threatening to strip him, and Arum lowballing him with the first Cotto offer for him to grow some balls and face him.

And why do Margarito fans say "Who has PW fought besides Margarito and Quintana?" Well isnt fighting and beating Margarito enough when Margarito, his promoter, and his fans are claiming he is the man in the division? How is he the man based on the fact he beat Cotto who beat Quintana, Zab, and squeeked by Mosley? Margarito isnt the man because Cotto wasnt the man. Cotto wasnt the man at 140 (Hatton was) and Floyd was the man at 147. He didnt pass the torch to Cotto by retiring. There is no linear champion at 147 and the only way you get one is by him winning the belts whcih Margarito isnt interested in doing if he is chasing Shane (no belt) and Cotto(no belt).

ok, you have really showed your ******ity. Are you arguing that Floyd wasnt the LINEAR champion at 147? Do you need a ****in history lesson? Zab beat Cory, who had all the belts. Baldomir beat Zab, who had all the belts. Floyd beat Baldomir, who beat the last linear champion (Baldomir didnt have all the belts cause he only paid the WBC sanctioning fees when he fought Judah). Therefore, according to the linear history of the 147 division, Floyd was the LAST linear champion. Cotto was ranked number 1 based on what people thought he could do in the division and that turned ou8t WRONG. Margarito beats him thus thrusting him to number 1, but there is STILL at CHAMPION in the same weight class with a recent victory over him so how in the **** does that make him "the man" in the division? Margarito did EVERYTHING in his power to avoid PW the first time. Do you have selected memory? When the WBO told Margarito he had till January 1 to sign the contract, or forfeit his title, he petitioned the WBO for a non-title fight, a unification fight with Cotto, THEN face PW. The reason he faced PW had absolutely NOTHING to do with keeping his belt. It had to do with Arum offering him $900k to fight Cotto compared to the $1.6 million he was being offered to fight PW. So get your facts straight.

The reason he is somewhere not taking Arums call is because Arum promised him if he passed on the PW fight, his next fight would net him the same $4million Goosen had on the table. Problem is, he isnt only getting a little less than $2 million to face Shane. Those are the facts. Thats from inside information I have from both Goosen/Tutors camp and Top Rank's camp.
