good promoting imo. you don't put your cashcow in against someone you know he will lose to.

Im sorry Kessler fans, but this is ridiculous. you can only point at Palle for so long, sooner or later Kessler needs to make his own decisions, and a fight against Dawson would be a fantastic matchup. What bigger fights does Kessler possibly think hes going to get? Jones? Hopkins? Calzaghe rematch? sorry bud, but as far as Ive heard they have 0 interest in fighting you.
wake up, dont be such a picky little woman.
and also, their comments on Dawson are laughable. apart from the fact that Dawson is NOT that big for his weight class, them trying to turn down a fight because hes 'too big' and 'doesnt bring anything to the table(which is bs)' kind of hints that theyre afraid of a fight with Dawson.Comment

Kessler's camp seem too complacent in all this. I think they are comfortable doing what they are doing to be honest.
I think it all comes down to risk/money.
Kessler makes a million to fight a Haussler in Denmark or Germany, or a million to fight Dawson.
The game is not only about money though. Reputation means a lot on this game. If he beats Dawson, he gets more money the next fight, and his reputation gets a great boost.
Yes it is a risky fight, but sometimes it has to be done, or you risk being forgotten.Comment

Look at Sturm. Lost to Oscar in 2004 and hasn't fought a decent opponent since. Look at Calzaghe and Hatton, hiding behind their promoter all those years, making it look like it's HIS fault they didn't take big fights when Warren says he struggled to even get them in the ring with the Jeff Lacy's of the world.Comment

Both you *******s just want to see Kessler lose, why not admit it.
Why can't Dawson come down to 168, if he's not really bigger?Last edited by The Hammer; 11-13-2008, 11:40 PM.Comment
