Mikkel Kessler's promotor Mogens Palle has turned down an offer from HBO for Mikkel Kessler to fight Chad Dawson.

Palle states to danish TV2 that: "Dawson is a cruiserweight squeezing down to 175 lbs and he does not bring enough to the table".

Mendoza was a late replacement, so you can't blame him for that. Dawson has shown a lot of ambition in fighting Johnson and Tarver.

Im only talking about Mendoza and Ruiz thats it, thats the only point I made. If you criticize Kessler for fighting Haussler, his FIRST title defense since winning it again, then you can criticize the fight with Ruiz, only point I was making, I said nothing about Tarver nor Johnson, funny nobody talks about their age but talks about Joe's opponent's age, whom Joe is closer to in age.

Well I think it's more important to look at what boxers have done recently when it comes to looking at how ambitious they are. Recently, Dawson has shown much more ambition than Kessler.

IMO Dawson has shown that he wants hard fights against big names. Kessler has not.
