Kessler turns down Dawson!

dawson would kill kessler. he "doesnt bring enough to the table", only because this fight would be the equivalent of cashing kessler out. the meal chad would have to bring doesn't have to be enough for one feeding, but enough to feed mikkel and his family for a lifetime after chad whoops kessler and kills that cash cow!Comment

after what happened against andrade they won't let their cash cow bute in with someone like kessler.Comment

Yeah, but Dawson is the biggest talent with the biggest name. I don't think he'd want to risk another loss so close together. He'll go for a name he feels he has a better shot at beating.Comment

I agree, I doubt Kessler wants to risk going to 175 and fight Dawson, who is one of the best 175 pounders in the world, I don't know who he'd fight though who has a big name in America that doesn't pose a risk to him losing.Comment

Someone suggested Winky Wright as a possibility not long ago.
I haven't read any recent interviews with him, but others on here have said that he plans to go back to 160, so that fight also seems unlikely too.Comment

I agree, this seems like the best chance he will get, especially with it looking as if Taylor (should he win) will go be going the WBC route.

i used to be a big Kessler fan and im sure this isnt Kessler hmself denying the fight, but more of a case of Palle protecting his cash cow and Kessler being the nice dude that he is, putting his trust in Palle.
But really, does Palle think that Winky would actually consider Kessler? How does BUTE or FROCK bring more to the table than Dawson who just beat Antonio Tarver? The only other POSSIBLY VIABLE option be the winner of Taylor/Lacy and I really think that Kessler isn't going to be their first or foremost choice.
Sorry Kessler, but Palle is ****ing up your career. Enough with Euro's complaining that America doesn't give foreign fighters enough credit or chances to prove themselves.Comment
