Sounds like slight bias, and I can understand it because you've met Bernard and this swings your opinion, however, the most other people on the planet would probably disagree with you. People will mention Joe alongside such fighters as Marciano -- a great who remained undefeated and achieved goals that are close to impossible to achieve. People will talk about Joe Calzaghe for many years to come.
Well Bernard has a better resume. And I'm speakin for the US. Joe will be remembered but not like Bernard in the states. Marciano? lol
No. Someone posted that after the fight and it was later exposed as being 100% made up.
That's incorrect, Joe said it on a video interview. He was pretty clear about hitting him low, his exact words were "well, I had to have a dig, didn't I?". This was his "payback" for the flash KD in the 1st round. Although Joe admitted he hit him low, it was in round 2. The "fake" low blows, or at least, the dramatic over-reaction to them, didn't come until the late rounds.
Interesting to hear he will probably fight again. Who against though? Who is there? He has said no rematches so that means no to BHop, Kessler and Roy (thank ***).
Who does that leave? Dawson (who most believe is unlikely)? I hope it is not some B level fighter like Froch or someone.

Just says may fight next year, not will. Means nothing, and is the same old speculation.
I got a feeling you might be wrong there Clegg. I think I heard words similar to those come out of Joe's mouth at some point.

Ah, my mistake. I said what I said because when it was posted before, the source given was a non-existent newspaper, and when I searched online I couldn't find any comments like that from Calzaghe. Here's the thread in question:
