that would shut a lot of critics up. he's got to fight some non europeans to prove he is unbeatable.

To be completely honest with you, I wouldn't be terribly impressed for the simple fact that it took this guy this damn long to come over here and expose himself to the American audience. I'm not sold on him and quite frankly, I never will be. However, this doesnt mean I don't respect his wins over BHop and Jones. BHop because he showed against Pavlik that he has A LOT left and I respect his win over Jones because it was fair and square. I just don't like how it seems he waited for them to be past it to take a shot at them.

That's just me though man, I completely understand how he can have a large following.
Have you ever wondered if it's actually the other way round, as in Roy and Bernard waited until they needed the money and Joe lost his edge?

You'll probably find a way to disagree, but the Calzaghe-Hopkins fight which Bernard walked out on back in 2002 is well documented.

If you also remember, in post-fight interviews stretching back 6 or 7 years, Joe Calzaghe often spoke of a Hopkins fight, saying "it's my ultimate fight".

Considering this, I'd think twice before assuming it was all one way traffic, with Joe avoiding the likes of Hopkins and Jones.

Not possible since Reggie Johnson might end up spending the rest of his life in jail, unfortunately. Maybe they'll fight in prison.

Don't count out old Reggie, he is coming off a win over JC Gonzales.

                  Brian Nielsen.

There, I knew there was another boxer who was on the brink of beating Marciano's record and then lost. Took me hours to remember who it was...

Brian Nielsen was the greatest Danish fighter ever, he beat Larry Holmes, Tim Witherspoon, Tony Tubbs, Jeremy Williams, Orlin Norris and Peter McNeeley.

Battling Nelson was a bum with 32 losses! His wins were over nobodies like Joe Gans, Terry McGovern, Jimmy Britt, Young Corbett II and Aurelio Herrera.

                    Don't let BatTheMan see this.

No offence but why should JC try to prove himself when he beaten everyone in his division then moved up and beaten 2 ATG on their own soil? He's past his prime yet still looks better than anyone else between 168 and 175. He should retire.
