I will be diplomatic about it. If he fought 4 more times and he fought a rematch against B Hop next and won that comvinceingly, fought say Dawson and won that, fought a rematch with Kessler and won that I would be amazed it really wouldn't matter who he fought inhis last fight. To me that should be a peter manfredo type fight in front of his home crowd and a farewell bout. if he can win the three fights mentioned prior. I tell you the truth he probably will fight again and I wouldn't be surprised if he gave Roy a rematch if that is what Roy really wants....Lefty

      calzaghe 50-0

don't matter if he does this, the doubters will still say dawson was overated, or b'hop is to old or all the other excuses not to recognise he is the best fighter of his era. he may slap but they all say it hurts on the recieving end. and it don't matter if he does if you cant hurt him, the knock downs seem to switch him on and his pain receptors off. so the single big punches mean nothing. 1000 slaps beat 1 meaningless bomb.

so joe retire. the real boxing fans know how it is

by the way i didn,t enjoy the fight as i'm a massive jones jr fan and he should have done what joe should do and retire at the top. the ruiz fight should have been the last

I agree after he became Heavy Weight Champion Of The World there was much left to prove. Maybe if he wanted to Defend his title 1 or 2 times that would have been nice. A Tyson Jones Jr fight was spoke of but never happened. i being both of their fans would have loved to see that. Retiring would have been a good choice but hind site is 20/20 sir. I being selfish and wanting Jones to answer all the critics wanted him to go back down to LHW and regain his title. Looking back on his career now and after he got humbled it is easy to question that decision. But being a fighter and all your life being a fighter it is hard to walk away from the sport....Lefty

Or people like me, who feel his style (although his performance against Jones was better) is bad for boxing.
Joe knew he couldn't pitter patter Jones for 12 rounds, so worked on putting more into every punch.

That's why the fight was postponed, Joe busted one of his hands in training trying to up the ammount of power behind his shots.

if he did that and got to 50-0 he'd be a guaranteed ATG.
