I like these prospects. Angulo and Vanes are heads up better than the rest.

Just hope they move up their comp because there's not much at the top.

Problem is most of the top 10 is pretty unknown overall but that's ok, they can earn their stripes and get there quick.

This rushing not rushing stuff.. Well once in a while, you gotta hurry.
    Leon Spinks did, others did....

It would be a nice thing to see for a change instead of all these tune ups and step ups.
One of these guys will be a champ next year. 154 is not a deep division right now. With aging and mediocre champions the division is up for the taking.

lets say very early next year, Angulo gets that title, at like 16-0... then what?? how long can he realistically defend it against top guys??

and what happens when a Very Ready Vanes type guy comes to challenge for the title having just about 10 more pro fights under his belt and half the damage Angulo has already seen...

do i make much sense?? i guess ive grown to understand full well on how and why Top Rank moves prospects along the way they do... although I still believe Chavez jr is a bit TOO slow.
There is always a flip side to anything. You can say Vanes and Chavez jr are not steadily stepping up in competition. Once they do they might get exposed. As it was almost the case with Chavez Jr vs Vanda.

jccjr should stick to fighting the matt vandas of the world. he gets beaten badly by mostly all these guys. angulo kirkland and vanes all put the whooping on him.

                3. JJC JR

But Martinez is the real next big thing and would whip them all no doubt!

I would LOVE to see Vanes and JJC JR fight and Angulo and Kirkland fight, and have the winners fight each other!

We would end up with Vanes vs Angulo and what a fight that would be.

exactly how i see it. i would love to see Vanes fight JCCjr and angulo vs kirkland and the winners face each other. and yes, it would be vanes vs angulo which is what we all want to see.

Martinez is already the interim WBC Champ and obviously ranked well above any of these contenders/prospects

He did look veryyyy good in his last fight, I was ringside and have never had that much fun watching a boxer go to work so comfortably...
