You guys are describing only technical aspects for a better gameplan. But there are another factors that I think are important.

If the rematch is in Las Vegas with all the mexicans Margarito have a lot of support. If it's in MSG, with all the puertoricans, Cotto may be to brave but if he is intelligent the public will help him.

Also, what I don't understand is the gloves choice. I have never boxed but the 10 oz. are bigger so you can defend better with them and they hurt less. This is another advantage for Cotto because it would be more difficult to Margarito to wear him down.

He needs to grow a couple of inches in height j/k he just need to be more defensive n try not to KO Marg.. He should take it to the judges.. cuz Mararito is bad ass boxer .. he can take Cotto's punches with no problem. I don't think Cotto can beat Margarito by KO IMO.

how is the public going to help him box? if anything hearing the crowd may amp him up more and get into another firefight with Tony.

and Cotto has always fought with 8oz gloves so why should he switch to some unknown aspect in the most important fight of his career to date?

yeah I dont see it either. If he had shown a case of having stamina for days then I could see where someone would say Cotto was under conditioned but he looked as prepared as ever. In fact we have seen a case where Cotto gassed a bit before 12.

condition wise that was as good a Cotto as we have seen. Some fighters just don't have stamina ask DLH he has trained everywhere and it still does little for his stamina issues

Its kind of hard to knock a guy out when he suddenly quits on you.
