When you resort to holding for long periods of the fight, and faking low blows, and then come out and insult the person, I consider that to be pretty sad.

Calzaghe is such a bad fighter, but still he made Hopkins fight that way. What does that say about Hopkins?

If someone gives you a hard fight, then you should acknowledge it or if you're that upset, say nothing. Continually insulting Calzaghe makes him seem like a sore loser and make him look worse because of the way Hopkins fought that fight.

Mayweather gave Hatton credit after the fight. Loads of boxers give a guy credit after the fight, even if it was one-sided.

the fact that people can't seem to sway either ones opinion on the fight is the EXACT!!!! reason why there needs to be another fight, joe needs to give a rematch, plain and simple................ let the fists do the talking.........

and i'm willing to bet that if there is another fight, be prepared to have it become the best two out of three because hopkins is going to beat calzaghe if calzaghe steps up like a real champ should..............instead of being overly protective of his 0.........

no matter how much you wanna equate it, it aint the same dogg....a racist white person doesn't like blacks for the simple color of their skin. period.

personally, ive grown to love ppl no matter their color or nationality, obviously, and i long for the day EVERY1 feels that way....

but no matter how you wanna slice it and dice it, its more painful when a white person is racist towards a black person b/c it drudges up a painful past, and 10 times outta 10, its for no good reason, whites should hate blacks. on the other hand, blacks see it as kind of retaliatory......

Hopkins would light the fire in Calzaghe.

So it could happen. But damn that fight was boring.

What would Hopkins actually do differently? he'd say he'll knock Calzaghe out then he'll fight on the backfoot the whole fight and clinch every time Joe got anything off. It would be another **** fight and Joe would win a wide decision in Cardiff.

That's what would happen in a nutshell. It's not like boxing would suffer if it didn't take place.

Calzaghe was pretty unknown in 2002, Had Hopkins taken the fight and won he would of got NO credit.

Calzaghe at this stage is much more proven.

Some people talk about the rematch like its a ****** fight.

The fight was close and could of gone either way.

That alone gives Hopkins the right for a rematch.
