I really doubt Roy Jones will fight Glen Johnson,Tarver, Hopkins or Dawson. Like they said. I would bet anything he wont fight them.

He might fight yet another bum in his hometown. That I see possible.

Someone on Roy's team needs to tell him that it's time to hang 'em up. After this performance against Calzaghe, it's obvious that he has nothing left. It was hard to watch Roy bleed half to death after the 7th round cut. He showed us all something by finishing the fight but the way Calzaghe was showboating against him just makes it all the more apparent that he had no reason to be in there other than to collect a paycheck. Roy's fans don't want to see him like that anymore and his family sure doesn't want to see him in that situation anymore.
No rematches with Johnson or Hopkins, don't fight a bum just to go out on a W. Heal up, stay behind the scenes doing the promoting thing or get back behind the mic b/c I'd much rather listen to you than listen to Max Kellerman.

Retirement is the best option for jones at this stage.

There's no way he gets bloodied like that if he's just trying to carry Joe to victory. Roy wasted too much gas on big punches once he scored the knockdown. It's the same reason BHop tired out against Joe, and the reason Taylor tired out against Pavlik in their first fight.

Personally I think Mayweather was smart by retiring undefeated. Calzaghe should close the books on his careers as well.

"Im gonna retire from Boxing, Im not going to let Boxing retire me"
                Floyd "Money" Mayweather.
Mayweather was 3 fights short of retiring at the right time. If he would have fought Cotto, Margarito, and Williams, and won them all, then he could have retired. I guarantee a loss would have come from at least one of those three, however, and I imagine he knew that as well.

Calzaghe is retiring at the perfect time.

Hopkins only won the first 5 rounds at best. After that, Joe was landing cleanly, knocking sweat from Hopkins' bald head. He had him so exhausted that BHop had to feign low blows to buy recovery time. He's trying to save face by repeating phrases like "pitty pat" punches until his gullible fans start regurgitating it themselves. Joe won that fight. He owes Hopkins nothing. He's not wetting himself; he has nothing left to prove.

Did you listen to the whole thing? He ended up calling Roy a wimp.

"For the rest of the fight, he fought like the wimp that he is."

Wow, strong words from Glen but it's not like I can really disagree with what he said. It was embarrassing and it did look like after the 1st round, Roy didn't even try to win.

As I've posted before, just very disappointed in Roy but maybe that was all he had to give but it's hard to believe after he dropped him in the 1st that he couldn't have finished him off. Oh well...

Antonio Tarver did not provide or create the blueprint to beat Roy. Many fighters had attempted to do that before, pinning Jones on the ropes and waling away, with no success. I am convinced that an old Roy had Calzhage hurt, a young Roy has him out. Roy was done and has been done for past few years, their should be no credit given for this win, aside from beating a name fighter. Having said that, Calzhage is a great fighter and a HOF'er but this win proved nothing. I was there and witnessed the fight from ringside, covering the fight for some local press, Roy was done before the bell rang and Calzhage was thankful for the opportunity.
