How is a late stoppage after one of his more closely contested fights a humiliation?

I put Hatton as an 'up and comer' because he had only fought at the weight once before and because he was a comparable opponent to Kessler for Calzaghe.

          Your nuthugging is extremely insane.

First Calzaghe top 30 ATG now Hatton was an up and comer?

You predicted hatton to beat floyd didn't you? That is is you were even watching boxing back then...

It is still Floyd for mine. Wins over a prime elites like Corrales and Castillo as well as very good wins over Judah, Hatton and a not too past prime Oscar trump the likes of Kessler, Lacy and past prime versions of BHop and Roy.

Again, I will point out that I compared Hatton TO an up and comer. Kessler was and young champion, Hatton was a champion fighting at a new weight. It was and remains to be a fair comparison.

During the build up to the Mayweather Hatton fight I repeatedly said that I believed Hatton would win, but that I was betting with my heart instead of my head. That if I had to bet huge amounts of money on it, I wouldnt be putting it on Hatton. That is more fair and even-handed than anything you're likely to post around here.

Claiming that a well contested match that ultimately ended in a stoppage was not a 'humiliation' is also a very fair claim.

if only there was a 6ft Mayweather,
with the best defence in the game,
                who naturally weighed about 170.
Calazgue would of been beaten like Hatton was.
o well..guess we will neva see him beaten...
anyway, Mayweathers resume cuz his 6 time world champion in 5 different weight classes...that in it self beats alot of champions resume.
