He couldn't win either way. If he wins it's Joe's leftovers, and if he loses (which would never happen), Joe's sloppy seconds got the W over Bernard.

The only fights that make sense for Bernard are a Calzaghe rematch or a Jones rematch.

I'd prefer the Calzaghe rematch, because I know Bernard would wreck him this time out, but if he can only get Roy, ****, go for Roy I guess.

Even though bernard's resume ****s all over Roy's at this stage of their careers, some people still need to see the W on the record to be true believers.

And apparently lopsided wins over shot Roy means an awful lot around here right now.

I do agree Calzaghe is the only resonable opponent for B-Hop...but I want B-Hop to waste Chad, only because I believe Chad will become something *Laughs*

I'd throw down a ton of points on Hopkins over Dawson, just as I would Hopkins over Calzaghe in a rematch.

I can literally envision Hopkins Tarver'ing Chad's ass. Befuddling him with the right hand leads, switching angles consantly, utilizing his feints, and landing the counters with crisp, clean precision.

That's probably his only option. If Roy fights again he's liable to mummify before our eyes, and Joe is hell bent on avoiding Hopkins until Bernard is around 76 next time out.

How realistic do you think the chances are of Dawson/Kessler coming off?

as I too see Dawson way too inexperienced at this point to take on Joe or Bernard and expect to win .. they'll simply give Dawson looks he's never seen before and it'll fluster Chad, most likely into a UD loss.

Kessler isn't really deserving of a Calzaghe rematch, and frankly Hopkins-Kessler wouldn't sell all that great

Kessler-Dawson would be a logical choice for next year, but at what weight? Light Heavy?
