Notice how he now refers to him as "former world titleholder Hasim Rahman"? Why wasn't he called this before he arranged to fight Wlad? Only a couple of months ago he was "Hasbeen Rahman" and "a *****" and "delicate-chinned and shot". Why no mention of Rahman apparently "almost losing to feather fisted journeyman Zuri Lawrence"?

Although Rahman was "old" when he was going to fight Haye, a few months later

Another thing is the question of who the better fighter is, Toney or Rahman. When Haye looked to be choosing Rahman over Toney:

But when it's a question of Wlad fighting Rahman over Toney:

I also got the impression that Wlad always fought tough opposition, and that Haye was scared and was looking for the easiest possible opponent. However:

So, Haye will be facing a harder opponent than Wlad? Or Rahman has suddenly become un-shot? I'm confused...
wow man. you must have some major free time on your hands to dig all that up. anyway,,,wlad was supposed to be fighting povetkin. its not his fault pov pulled out. he's only facing rahman as a replacement. I would have rather him fight a better opponent but maybe he tried to no avail. a lot of the legit top guys have fights already lined up. rahman does have a name at least. I guess he could have gone worst and chose someone with no power like toney or chambers. its power that gives wlad the most problem and toney or chambers would have no chance of knocking wlad out. no one has been able to out box wlad. at least rahman is still strong and has some power

It's called the search function. All he had to do was search for the word Rahman under the poster Tunney and he got all those quotes. It's really not that hard.

Ouch! That's got to hurt. Tunney takes it well though.

Let me know if I get in your black book Clegg.

Yeah I know, it's done in good humour which is how Tunney was good enough to take it. The Haye fans are far from objective a lot of the time as well.

Fighting Rahman is the best choice for Wlad and I don't think he deserves any criticism for it, although I do think it will be a one-sided fight. Rahman does have a good jab, but so did Tony Thompson, and Wlad handled him quite easily. Rahman isn't that good, but all things considered he was the best option.

Wlad fans will get the last laugh anyway, as I don't think Haye has much chance of beating him, and will probably be knocked out if they do fight.

Thompson outjabbed Wlad, and outlanded Wlad too. and marked up Wlad's face more than anyone since the Mercer fight I think.
so no, Wlad did not have an easy time with him. heh.

The alternative to fighting Rahman is to not fight at all, and thank God Wlad did not choose that option. He will satisfy his mandatory with this fight which means he wont have to waste his time with Povetkin anytime soon.

Way to exaggerate the whole situation, There are better HW who are actually available than Rahman so your point about him not fighting at all is baseless.
