Calzaghe stopped talking about Johnson after relations between their camps turned sour, the win over Roy Jones happened after that.

I think it's a bit like the proposed Chris John-Rocky Juarez fight. John is the better fighter, but Juarez gets more attention and more people would probably expect him to win. Maybe not among the hardcore fans, but at least among the casual fans who form the majority.

I suppose another example was Junior Jones-Erik Morales, where a lot of boxing 'experts' apparently felt that Jones was very likely to win. I'm basing that upon what was posted on this board however, so it may be complete BS...
