    best at 147 right now:
    Cotto (Marg beat him)
    Clottey(Marg beat him)
    Cintron(Marg beat him)
    Williams(Marg lost a decision)
    Berto(Marg would kill him)

If Marg comes back and knocks Williams out and then wins again in their third fight, Marg will have cleaned out the division. Simple as that.

Margarito has fought the best at welter and won with one exception and that is a close fight with Pwill. Let the haters hate Margarito is KING.

Margarito at first couldnt get a belt because Santos wouldnt of given it to him, so nobody has cleaned out Welterweight not even Mayweather, nor Hatton because of Collazo. Cottos not cleaning out any divsion. Except if he moves back down with Hatton.

I think you contradicted yourself here a bit. The fighters are taller at 154

although I do agree with the first statement.

He wouldn't clear out 154 though

Margarito is a big dude. He's still a welterweight when he fights though, according to the rules. As long as he can get down to 147

I think Cotto has the potential to be the best at 147 and thus clean it out. He is easily the superior fighter technically in the division, he simply made some mistakes against Margarito and he paid for them. Providing he learns from those mistakes as he should, I see him coming back and winning a decision over Margarito and proceding to clear the division out.

After a Cotto rematch he should move up to Light Middleweight and fight Alfredo Angulo. That'd be a hell of a fight.
