Mijares is way past being "exposed"

Yes he did lose, convincgly. But these bull**** threads and posters claiming Mijares is a bum have no ****ing idea what theyre talking about. Mijares is was past the stage of being exposed, for the boxing educated (specifically those who actually follow boxing below the WelterW limit) a quick glance through his resume is enough to prove this. Claiming Mijares was exposed or is a bum after this loss is the same as claiming Cotto was exposed by Margarito. Not every champ or p4p fighter who loses a fight is exposed.

The nut huggers who are claiming Mijares was exposed are the same people who were saying Vic was "exposed" against Donaire. They shouldnt discredit Vic's win over Mijares, he's improved and it was well deserved. Mijares can still rebound from this loss like Vic has. At this point, I'd favor him in a rematch against Donaire.

Vic's win over Mijares is major.

Mijares schooled Arce when Arce was on the major rise to super stardom. And lets not forget this is a guy that went to Japan twice and won. The man is highly skilled and a good fighter and anyone that says otherwise is talking out of their ass.

It was huge indeed. The proper comparison would be if Margarito boxed Cotto's face off of, dropped him, then sent him down for the count later in the fight in a virtual shutout.

Now had Vic been losing all the rounds and KTFO Mijares with a huge haymaker that would be understandble. Vic the so-called one dimensional slugger gave the master boxer a boxing lesson and a beating before icing him.

let me tell you guys something as a HUGE Vic Darchinyan fan.

First off, Mijares is still, IMO, a very good fighter and my thoughts on him being a P4P guy havn't changed one bit. I still think Mijares is good, very good. All this bs talked is based on one thing. WE (including myself) NEVER THOUGHT VIC DARCHINYAN WAS THIS GOOD. I was saying all along "he has improved, he is fighting more focused, he isn't looking for the one punch anymore" but I never thought that he had reached this level. Mad respect to Mijares because the shot, CLEAN SHOTS, he was taking 8 out of 10 115 lbs would have fallen earlier. As for Vic, if he keeps this determination and focus NO ONE CAN TOUCH HIM AT 115

credit should be given where it is due ...

vic's win over mijares is impressive, but i dont see him beating nonito, unlike mijares nonito took vic's shots and gave vic some big shots of his own...
