Mijares is way past being "exposed"

Yes he did lose, convincgly. But these bull**** threads and posters claiming Mijares is a bum have no ****ing idea what theyre talking about. Mijares is was past the stage of being exposed, for the boxing educated (specifically those who actually follow boxing below the WelterW limit) a quick glance through his resume is enough to prove this. Claiming Mijares was exposed or is a bum after this loss is the same as claiming Cotto was exposed by Margarito. Not every champ or p4p fighter who loses a fight is exposed.Comment

Agreed. They are the same people who say Hopkins exposed Calzaghe, even though both are proven legends and are at the end of their careers. No one can pull a Hopkins, that's why i still believe that Pavlik will be close to unbeatable at 160. Mijares was on the pound for pound list and had most of the titles at super fly, so he was definitely past the ''exposed'' stage. Amir Kahn and Andy Lee is the definition of someone that got exposed.
joe won that ****ing fight.Comment

They said it because Bernard was 43 and many people( including ESPN commentator Brian Kenney ) agreed that Bernard won the fight. I have to admit that it was very close, and IMO it could have gone either way. Bernard landed the more meaningful blows throughout, and was able to neutralize Joe's work rate. MY point was that Joe and Bernard both are WAY past the exposed stage, and most people cannot do what they do.Comment
