Alotta Mexicans use that block punches with your face defense.. If you do that, you'll turn old faster...

Yeah. That definitely has a lot to do with it.
Also the lifestyle. Mexicans tend to eat lots of red meat, lots of greasy food that slow you down over time. When you get into your mid 30s, every little thing takes its toll at the pro boxer level.
Also they start getting involved in tough fights at a young age. Look at Margarito, started at 15 or 16 pro and had three losses before he turned 19.

They don't age any quicker than other fighters.

The difference is the pace.... simple as that. Mexican fighters normally keep a higher pace when it comes to the frequency of fights in the pro ranks.

DLH being the exception of course that guy fights whenever he wants and whoever he wants just like mayweather. Thats why they are still so fresh and haven't lost that much of a step. Think about it, you fight once a year and sometimes u just beat up a bum and that's all you do the whole year. People still call you great and you make millions.

Look at fighters like Erik Morales though.. started pro career young and never let up facing one young dangerous fighter after another in a mind boggling pace. That is what makes a fighter shot.

I watch Floyd's fights over and over, even his Baldo fight.

Roy was arguably on Floyd's level as a fighter, but in terms of pure boxing skills Floyd's better.
