You said that Floyd fanatics don't watch his fights but I'm telling you I watch all of them even the ones that most people would consider boring (not many of Floyd's fights are that boring to people, just a few).

Floyd showed some awesome skills in that fight with Baldo. I liked it. Maybe appreciating Floyd's style to that extent is an acquired taste, like one would need to enjoy grand opera or fresh clams.

they start their careers early and are not as protected as the american prospects
therefore u rarely see a mexican contender with an inflated record, when they have their first fights at the us they already been in fights with other tough mexicans for example larios vazquez marquez castillo and thats why they are usually past prime at 29 like morales
of course guys like calzaghe who are very protected can fight as long as 36 37 years of age
and chavez is an exception a guy with so many fights usually takes more punishment than guys that fight twice a year like hopkins
