i think lack of protection in early days as a boxer, combined with starting their careers at as young as 15 or 16, and also many have all action styles and have two or three fight wars with other boxers

They start earlier and mexican fans love watching brawls so the fighters will give that to them. So it is their pride that does them in but they much rather please their fans then have a long boring fighter career that don't satisfy his fans

boxers age much differently than normal people. it isnt just about how old you are, it also matters how much weight you cut, how well you take care of your body, how much damage you take in fights, and how much damage you take in sparring...that last one is overlooked, but I think that its very important. many fighters have shortened their careers by excessive sparring.

Mexicans are generally fighters how come straight foward, and dont waste energy running around the ring or clinching...they come to fight, and end up taking more punishment and end up dealing more punishment to their opponent as well.

so their careers are generally shorter than some other boxers.
also, they usually start boxing professionally much younger than other fighters, so they have a head start in that 'punishment taken' catagory.

ethnicity doesnt matter it doesnt age you.. its more so to do with your fighting style.. the agressive, bully style fighters age quickly.. guys like margarito, hatton, juan diaz, etc.. if you have sorry defense and get hit alot you accumulate damage over the years and its wear on you quicker as opposed to a boxer with great defense and that does not get hit alot
