How about if you are a young kid living in Africa? Instead of going down to the gym to train after school you don't go to school. You work an 8 hour day trying to earn enough money to enable you and your family to survive.
The few that make it to higher income countries are:
a) the lucky ones; and/or
b) from the very small percentage of the population that isn't actually living in poverty.
Who is to know how many great fighters Africa would produce if they were privy to the same living conditions and training infrastructure as the African-Americans in the States?
