He beat Ike Quartey but Ike isnt from America.

Really if you think about it, real blacks(Africans) are not that good at boxing. I mean as Elite level boxers. These are the only ones I can think of, off the top of my head.

(Best of the bunch) Ike Quartey- Almost was elite but lost to DLH and Vargas.

Sam Peter- Quit in his biggest fight

Andrew Lewis- Had a belt but was Knocked out by Mayorga.

Howard Eastman- Lost to every big name.

Kassim Ouma- Lost to every big name.

Ben Tackie-Fought good names but always lost.

Plenty others who had thier shot and lost like Sakio Bika. Those are the real africans, their are plenty more who are first generation africans that live elsewhere like Sechew Powell. Powell sucks. Joshua Clottey is the best I can think of and he already lost to Antonio Margarito.

Ouma beat up Phillips, Rubio, and Jantuah. A solid resume. He had a small window of success and quickly went down hill due to his fighting style.

Ike Quartey was an excellent fighter, who many believe beat Oscar and Forrest. In fact if you took a poll on here, I'd bet it'd be split down the middle on who won.

Oba Carr was a very good fighter. Dont just go off of Boxrec. Losing to Quartey, Tito, and Oscar is not such a bad thing.
