Wrong. Margarito changed his mind about the immediate rematch after watching a replay of the fight and then decided to focus on a future shot for Cintron's belt. Margarito said the only way he would fight Paul again is if Goossen had nothing to do with the promotion. To whoever said Williams is boring, he has two straight first round KO's and other then the first Quintana fight every one of his fights are violence and excitement. Haters are jokes. Verno Phillips means more at 154 after beating Spinks anyways. Margarito is a hypocrite, calls out Oscar and Shane but ducks Williams. Clottey turned down the November date as well. More so Arum.

The real reason that Margs didn't fight Pwill again is because Arum didn't want him to fight him in the first place. Arum was already planning Cotto vs Margs for summer 07. But Goosen offered and paid Margs what is still his biggest payday, 1.6 mill. Arum sued Margs and made him re-up his contract. When he lost, Arum liked the way he fought and put him on the track to the Cotto fight again. That is when he got on this action fight kick he is on. Remember this line, "We only want to deal with fighters and not business men." Margs fought Golden Johnson, and Cintron was scheduled to fight Pwill. But after Cintron barely beat Feliciano, he pulled out of the Pwill fight and decided to fight Margs because he thought he could AVENGE his defeat. Pwill had to fight Quintana and lost. Margs hasn't lost since Pwill. Pwill has came back and thrashed everyone since the first Quintana fight. Only way these two will ever fight again is if Margs beats Cotto in June and Pwill keeps Punishing them. Then they will fight the end of next year. If both of those do not happen, then they will be on two different career paths. Margs will be in the Cotto trilogy, and Pwill will be moving up in weight.

Well then I guess he wasn't thinkig when he said what he said. That why boxers have managers and promoters and match makers. If every boxer fought the guys the public always wanted to see them fight then more of them would have 24-14 records.
