Ok, sorry sir, didn't mean to contradict you. But just one thing, please learn the difference between "your" and "you are".

It just seems like Joe, more than any other fighter, attracts these guys who have literally watched like a few fights and think they can come in here and argue with us.
I don't know why idiots on the internet would make you look forward to someone retiring.

It's ****ed, I feel compelled to respond to them, I can't fkn help it. The fkn moron who wrote the post directly above this one provides a perfect example about what I am talking.

I am aware of the difference. I do not feel the need to type with optimal grammar when discussing boxing over the internet.

              Deepest apologies.

I guarantee Joe won't retire. Dawson will run his mouth off and claim how Calzaghe is avoiding him, then Joe will make the fight and beat him. Then people will claim Dawson was shot and that Joe needs to fight some other guy to secure his greatness.

Joe's legacy as it is, has been built around guys that have no name and now as he leaves the sport he wants to make it up by fighting a 43 year old and a 39 year old guy. His resume lacks a prime fighter.
Where did he say nothing left to prove?

And he's American, hardly a homer.

Posts like yours are part of why it's impossible to have a rational discussion about Calzaghe.

Kessler is a prime fighter. The number one at super middleweight. Your post is completely flawed dude, can't believe you'd even bring up Pavlik's name after that "43 year old" dismantled him. Jones is shot, Calzaghe doesn't deserve any credit for fighting him. I'll agree with you on that point. And Taylor? Please, GTFOH with that nonsense. The only fight left for Calzaghe is Dawson.

                      Anyway...

I know exactly what you mean. Calzaghe has loads of flaws and there are many things that he can be criticised for. He is also a guy with a lot of talent. But it's very hard to make a thread/post evaluating the good and the bad in a rational way without some idiot accusing you of bias, or saying incredibly ****** things.

No matter how the fight with Roy Jones goes, this board will become incredibly ****** and childish for quite a while afterwards. It's sad really, because surely some of these people are in their 20s or even older, and they act like 12 year olds.
