You just don't seem to understand. Kessler needs to stop adhering to what the WBA wants. If he continues to do as you say he will ruin his career. He needs to drop this belt and get over to the States ASAP. Or do you think ringing up a whole lot of worthless defences of an alpha title only bums fight for a pathway to greatness?

The fight is supposedly a voluntary defense, not a mandatory.

As I said before, I've heard that the rumours about this fight happening might be untrue.

If it is true however, Kessler taking this fight would be indefensible.

No but making big money fights is not as straightforward as people think and of course Kessler should chase a legacy but more immediately he has to look after his livelihood which is well catered for by holding a world title.

He is just killing himself at the moment. He needs to stop fighting these very ordinary European fighters as soon as he can. If he keeps fighting these guys he will lose more fans and not even be considered for big fights against top guys in the future.

I don't just judge fighters by looking at their resume on boxrec, I like to actually watch their fights and having watched several of Kessler's fights I can tell that he would compete and probably beat most of the big names from 160-175.

Reid might have been a tougher fight but there's no way Eubank or Hopkins were considering the level Calzaghe performed at in all the fights involved.

Pavlik looked like he could complete at 175 or 168 but at 170 he got destroyed. Kessler has not proven on thing at all, now you claim he can beat 175 top dogs when he got outclassed and embarrassed by Calzaghe.

Calzaghe stated after Hopkins fight that it was his hardest fight
