I have no need to defend myself on here to you Tunney. I definately do not hate European fighters, however. Mikkel Kessler is in my top 5 favourite active fighters and Vitali Klitschko is my favourite HW fighter.

I just don't understand why ppl are not getting on Mikkel more for his opposition. HE is clearly a class act and could be a top p4p fighter and a HOFer yet he is fighting guys that will get him no recognition. It is essentially our fault as we continue to swallow him fighting guys not on his level.

I think some of the best boxers ever are from Europe, there is no doubt about that, but the best ones are from American Continent, not only USA... And Perdomo is a good fighter, had never been knocked down and has a powerful left hand...
He may not be an "Elite Boxer" but he is ranked 2° in the WBA for some reason...

Why bother with keeping the WBA belt by fighting mandatory after mandatory?

This is Kessler's prime right now, he needs to be fighting the top guys. If he can't get a rematch with Calzaghe, which it doesn't look like he can, I want to see him going after the top guys from either 160 (AA or Pavlik), 168 (Taylor, Bute, hell even Froch) or 175 (Dawson, Hopkins, even the likes of Johnson and Tarver).

I have been a Kessler fan for years now and I will always support him, but I am growing more and more disappointed with his level of competition.
