This might seem rude to you, but Froch is not a big fight for Kessler. A big fight to Kessler is with someone with a bigger name than him. Therefore Froch, Bute, Inkin etc. are not where it's at. Come on, you guys would be slamming him if his next fight was Inkin and you know it.
Kessler vs. Glenn Johnson would not be a big fight either.

IMO the fights that make sense would be Jermaine Taylor, Winky Wright, Mads Larsen if he beats Bute (two Danish SMM titlists would be huuuuuuuge in Denmark), Arthur Abraham.
Hopkins, Calzaghe, RJJ etc. are not interested in Kessler.

The reality of the situation is that there aren't many real possibilities for Kessler at the moment. He wants a giant fight, but there isn't one available.

no mate i agee froch isn't a huge name especialy not in the US but it would make people realize in the UK that kess is the real deal and who knows maybe even frank warrne will sign him up.

imo he should hope that froch wins, froch would be more likely to go for a unification match up than jean pacal. if kess does manage to unify the WBA and WBC then imo he will become the top dog. ten the likes of taylor and bute wont be able to avoid him.

Those two fights enabled Kessler to get a world title, and keep it, aka necessary fights. Now he should be getting the biggest fight out there, and at the moment Froch is not it.

He won't get any big fights if the WBA keeps throwing these random mandatory challengers with no name at him. He will be another Sven Okkte or Zsolt Erdie. A good fighter that makes wrong career decisions.
