  • Roy Jones Jr. Switches Up, Considers Hopkins Rematch

A few days ago, Roy Jones Jr. told Tim Smith that he was not interested in a rematch with Bernard Hopkins. He was against it and said there was little chance of the fight coming off. Jones won a twelve-round decision over Hopkins in 1993. [details]

I said this before the Vitali vs Peter fight (got it right for once), but if Roy beats Hopkins in a rematch I will leave the board. No possible way that this slower Roy can beat Hopkins, and I would be suprised if he survived the fight. Hopkins by KO.

Jones will beat Calzaghe on Nov.8!

Jones HAS DEFEATED Hopkins by UD in 1993.

A slower Roy is still 3 times as fast as Hopkins and Roy is just as crafty, has equal or greater ring generalship, more power/strength and will win without a doubt, probably stun Hop a few times in the process.

If Roy beats Calzaghe. Jones/Hopkins will possibly be the biggest fight in boxing next year! The money in that probably wasn't overlooked by Roy too long.
