                Dempsey had a great defense. But it was a different form of defense that most fight fans cant even see or comprehend today. When you are fighting bare-knuckle or with 3oz gloves your entire approach to defense changes. You don’t have those massive padded blockers in front of your face. Those old school bare-knuckle fighters knew how to fight bare knuckle and were damn good at it. More and more MMA defensive technique looks like old bare-knuckle technique out with the new in with the old.

                  Of course Imma go with ma main man Iron Mike on this one...but also I must say...Roy Jones Jr was a freaking beast in his prime...no matter what the other doode had to bring into the ring Roy was gonna get his...I can't hate on that!!
