Whitaker would be in close fight and be BSing. i see u fan and all, but he did that. that's not focused and disciplined. that just blessed with talent. if he would put in the work and had some discipline in his career, dude could been phenomenal. Now I Like him, but I don't hold him in such high regard as u because of that.
He didn't draw with Chavez because he BS'ed. He drew because he got BS'ed.

And I'm a MUCH bigger fan of Floyd than I am Pea, please believe it. But I'll put my bias aside because I believe Pea was that much greater and PUSHED himself to be greater.

He gave up round 11 or 12 cant remember to mcgirt in a fight that was close.

This off the top of my head.

Pea was so talented and above his opposition that *sometimes* he forgot that he was there to win.
which mcgirt fight? cause I remeber Pea getting busy in 1 of them and I was like hell yeah Pea, that's what im talking about none of that bsing when the fight on the line.

And I mentioned 10 years, because no one loved Pea when he was fighting, just like PBF now.
I don't think anyone loves Pea now. He NEVER had the amount of fans that Floyd has today.

And way higher as in, I'd place Floyd top 50 but Pea top 15.

He didn't push himself too me. too much lack of focus and BSing and the drugs and stuuf play right into that. He could of been so much more if u really look at him for whathe was. Skills out of this world though!

LOL, you can't do much more than what Pea did. And speaking of being much more, someone get Floyd on the phone.

Lots of ppl love Pea now. Thank god. It was about time.

Yeah but 80% of Mayweather fans (EDIT: and those who despise him too btw, maybe 95% there) dont know **** about boxing, I am talking about ppl who are worth listening to when they rate fighters in a bigger picture (people who watch and understand boxing).

On the bold, i find it a ridiculous gap. Don't want to get in that, because I find the style matchup much more interesting.

Lol, no doubt. I hear u. Floyd could face the same thing as Pea. Great Resume and all the talent but he gon leave people with wanting more form him.

Let me be clear, Pea is 1 of the greatest fighters I had ever seen in my short life and on the tapes I've seen. But I just can't help but want more from him. with all that talent, he still should have been able to beat Tito and that last dude he fought. I can't even remember who that was. and in my opinion he beat Oscar and Chavez.

Floyd ain't stopping no Pernell Whitaker, just stop it. And to keep it real, he ain't beating him either. You seem to know a lot about the way Floyd fights...how bout Pea?
man im not discretit him, hes very crafty and elusive, and his style of attack is very similar to floyds, hes a great fighter...im just saying that floyd would be the bigger guy in the ring, has far the longer reach, peas punches probably wont hurt him too much. Plus Floyd is used to that style, at 135 his style looked like the mirror of pea, being raised by his father and then his uncle he knows what he can bring, so he would keep his composure, pick his shots when pea attacks (he sightly opens up when he hooks) and slowly break his will.

mcgirt 1. He is on spot most of the fight, as he should have given Buddy was no slouch, but in one of the final rounds (11 or 12) he just clowns so much and I remember thinking... here we go again, luckily the judges got the rounds right enough.
