Pavlik lost to a better fighter who is an ATG and a HOFer. Cotto lost to Margarito who isn't any of them. Pavlik was not stopped but got out hustled. Cotto was stopped and embarrassed like the coward and fraud he is. Pavlik did not quit while Cotto voluntary took 2 knees than quit like a coward. Cotto hype was a lot more than Pavlik Hype.

Cotto loss was embarrassing not to him but to his country and his family.

but if you seen the fight with cotto there was no way he was gonna win later in the rounds...he was already bloody and battered so it was no way he was gonna risk his life for a fight he couldn't win....i get what you saying about him quitting...but he just didn't had it in him

now pavlik thought he was just gonna have a walk in the park with b-hop. till b-hop outclassed him....ture he stayed in there till the end wich i give him props....but still...getiing out hustle by a 43 year old guy who you said you where gonna knock out before the fight.....to me thats kinda embarrassing

Pavlik was out boxed, no question there. But Cotto got destroyed by a guy who wasn't even on the P4P list and not even a Hofer. Cotto hype was crazy seriosuly. "Cotto breaks men" "Cotto doesn't beat you, he beats you up". All that crap was being thrown around.

I would rather get out boxed than destroyed in front of hundreds of thousands and quit like a coward

the pavlik hype was just as carzy as well....maybe not as much as cotto...but he was hyped to an extent...and just cuz rito was not on the p4p list don't mean cotto didn't have a chance loseing...people thought tyson was gonna have a walk in the park with dougless....but look what happened.

i get what you saying....but i can understand why cotto quit....but pavlik loss was embarrssing to me...getting rock by wind up punches ....

And I think Hopkins was a bigger underdog, Margarito was a 2-1 underdog I believe, Hopkins was a 4 or 5-1 underdog.

Sorry but the Cotto hype was mad crazy and over the top, He was turned into an instant ATG even though he hadnt really been in there with great fighters, He has been placed in the right fight at the right stages, The only fight he fought where things were not on his side he lost.

No question about it... Pavlik was dominated from round one whereas Cotto was dominating but couldn't take the punishment from Magarito, pointless debate. A Hatton and Pavlik debate is more debatable than this.
