Look at Hopkins with the Calz fight. He looked pathetic beside the nice knockdown with Cal and he looked pathetic fighting Hopkins !

Hopkins has proven to me to be a great fighter, as much as I want to say he isn't because of his style. His style stinks. He is no doubt as smart as any in his era or he wouldn't have survived. Its just that , except for a few fights he just doesn't come accross as a great great fighter. That is due to competition.

Pavlik has much to prove. The Rubio fight will be easy and if not he is done but the Abraham will be the real key to find out about Pavlik.

My Top five favorite fighters today are 1. Bernard Hopkins 2. Manny Pac Man
3. Miguel Cotto 4. Kelly Pavlik 5. Andrea Berto. Now you can take off Pavlik for his piss poor excuse why he lost the fight, does he not watch any of B hop previouse wins. He made Tarver look like bad, Winky could not get his jab off, I believe he lost to Jermain in the 2nd fight but the first fight should have been a draw if the idiot judge would not have scored that 12 for Taylor. They both won 6 rounds a piece in that first fight but the rounds B hop won he clearly dominated them and I believe he gave to much respect to Taylor. But every fight he has been in the opponent looks frusterated and he did the same to Pavlik and he should just admit to it because B hop never gave him an opportunity to hit him or jab him bottom line. Even when Roy Jones beat him in 93 he only one 116 to 112 thats amazing for B hop in a RJJ era. B Hop will kill Roy now he is 1 million times better than he was 15 years ago why do you think he has been ducking him. Look at who they have faught in the last 9 years.

Joe cal ****** L split decision watch that fight in slow motion and you will see that Joe didn't land Half of his ***** slaps and B Hop countered him all day with the right hand he just happen to show his age in the last three rounds but still should have got the decision especially since he floored Joe. 9. 1. The guy he beat then tested positive for steroids. 2 John Ruiz W 12 who is a slow bumb if he had some balls he would have faught Lewis. 3 Tarver W 12 4. Tarver L KO in 2 5. Johnson L KO in 9 6. Tarver L in 12 and looked like ****.
Im not going to name his last three cause its not worth it.
So please Pavlik and the rest of you Roy Jones Jr fans please quit hateing and realize who is the best pound for pound fighter of our era and that is B hop who fights nothing but the best fighters in the world and the only time he loses is on some bull **** split decisions. Besides the second Taylor fight.
So get real I hope Roy wins on the 8th cause B-Hop will make him look so ******. Just listen to them talk Roy sounds like a ****ing idiot all the time. It's not excuse it's a fact.. He may not beat Hopkins in any weight class but it's a fact he move up 2 division higher to fight Hopkins..

Can you imagine Margarito and Mosley calling out the Lightweights.?

B-Hop fought at MW almost his entire career and moved up actually 5 lbs higher than where he fought Pavlik at and annihilated Tarver. Pacquiao has moved up a ****load throughout his career. I don't care if Pavlik moved up. That's no excuse. He got his ass kicked.

sounds like an overtrained fighter. It happens in boxing more than any other sport and that's probably what happened here.. Not to mention the added weight. Fighters need to get smarter about moving up to weight divisions. You don't need to weigh what is required to be effective at a higher weight. It is too your advantage to be lighter than the naturally bigger guy, your speed and activity rate will give the heavier guy problems. Not that Kelly is a speed demon, but his work-rate has always been much greater than Hopkins. Kelly is still a middleweight and should stay there until he can't make the weight any longer...

A message to Kelly Pavlik

Kelly.. just keep quiet man. Keep your thoughts to yourself. Just work on your boxing skills and comeback better. I would say fight some ok contenders for the next 6-12 months so you can practice your boxing game then add your power game and have the complete package. You ran into a legend man.. nothing to be ashamed of.. but channel your energy into your game and become a complete fighter. Like Bernard told you this can make you or break you.

Kelly didn't look good, but I don't think the catchweight was the decidin factor of the fight. He just got dominated by a guy who had his number.

This is an observation:

White fighters make A LOT of excuses when they lose. They are sore losers. I'm not sure why.
