It is too your advantage to be lighter than the naturally bigger guy, your speed and activity rate will give the heavier guy problems. Not that Kelly is a speed demon, but his work-rate has always been much greater than Hopkins. Kelly is still a middleweight and should stay there until he can't make the weight any longer...
    Walt.

He has fought there before. He is not smaller than Hopkins. Stop yourself.

Dios and I aren't friends but we agree with each other and agree that weight shouldn't be an issue. Hopkins went up to 175 and beat the bigger man tarvers ass for the belt.

No he didn't that is just ignorant. Go back and watch the fight again Silencers, you are smarter than that. Roy Jones won comfortably, and with little trouble. Bernard didn't even come close to making Roy look bad.

I agree with this... He never struck me as someone who would be a sore loser.

Whilst Roy didn't look "bad" in that fight he certainly looked more limited than in any fight I have seen him in pre-Tarver.

jesus it wasn't two weight classes, it was a catch weight at 170 and pavlic came in at 169 which is what he alway steps into the ring at .

If Hatton didnt over train, he would have KO 1 Mayweather.

He made Jones look worse than anyone had up to that point, he made Jones look pretty limited as danc said, I've watched the fight many times, Jones looked way worse than his 'superman' self.

Jones and Hop owned the past 15 years

Jones was like a ****in super hero to me and I was not happy with the B-hop fight. B-hop looked stronger than Jones at the end and it looked like JOnes was running out of tricks by the end and was going to end up having to **** it out with Hop.

I am a true Jones fan and I do believe B-hop gave him more trouble than any other fighter he faced prior to his demise. Fact is if the Jones -Hop fight wen 15 rounds I don't know how it would've ended. Hopkins was outclassed by Jones but Jones was not at all anxious to fight B-hop again !!!

He looked about 25% as good as Roy Jones normally did.

It's not that Hopkins was winning a bunch of rounds, but... as usual, Hopkins did have Roy hesitant to throw punches that just flowed from him against Toney.
