Hopkins pretended to be hit by low blows twice and crawled around on the floor, acting.

It's all swings and roundabouts my friend.

I have this fight downloaded via ******* too, and I've watched the fight just about five times or so. This is what I thought:

Calzaghe didn't land clean solid blows, but you're lying to yourself if you're saying his punches didnt land. Theres a big difference between those two statements.

No one's saying here that Calzaghe was the cleaner puncher that fight. But it depends on how you judge the fight. I felt that Calzaghe won some rounds based on the fact that he pushed the action and came forward looking to exchange, whereas Hopkins just laid back and looked to counter all night.

Now sure, in some cases the clean counterpuncher takes those rounds against the busier, less accurate man. In the case of this fight though, Bhop simply just didn't land enough. I felt that you couldn't give rounds to Bhop in which he landed say 2 clean solid counters, whereas Calzaghe worked the whole round and got in his own shots (even if they were more grazing shots). Also, in the later rounds Calzaghe started to develop his rhythm and started taking control turning it into his fight. I felt this took a lot of ring generalship just to be able to steer the fight into his tempo (especially against a guy like Bhop who refuses to).

calzaghe threw alot of punches but was not land anything clean until the later rounds at was not even that often.. i think he used his wannabe roy jones flare to excite the judges and steal rounds.. bhop controlled the fight as far as pace for the first 6 rounds and landed the clean shots through the entire fight and knocked the dude down.. calzaghe's pops was telling him he needed the ko cuz he knew his son was losing.. bhop was robbed

                Thank you.

Im not saying Calzaghe dominated and kicked Hopkins ass. I had the fight 114-113 for Joe. If you wanted to argue that Hopkins won, I'd listen, but it would be hard convincing me. The bottom line is, some people just do not understand the difference betweed losing a close fight and a robbery.

Calzaghe 115-112 from what I remember I had

I fail to see how you can score alot of the rounds specifically after round 4 for Hopkins I , I mean you can if you favour one clean shot and **** load of holding, if your looking for damage done. But I tend to score any fight for the guy trying to win and not the guys trying not to lose. Hopkins should have went for it...but he didn't want to.

I mean was it round 7 Hopkins landed one biggish shot right on the bell in round 7, and people gave him that round? when Joe was on top for 2.59 seconds.

I need to see this ****e again
