I had mixed emotions because they are both my two favorite fighters currently. I was ecstatic for Hopkins and at the same time bummed for Pavlik. I would have felt the same either way though. Pavlik just looked like absolute **** and didn't prepare properly for the fight. They just thought they were going to land at will and figured that eventually they'd knock him out. Kelly is young and I think he will learn a lot from the fight. Eventually, someone was going to expose the fact that he has trouble with lateral movement.

    Back to the drawing board...

I did feel sorry for him.

He simply had no answers for Hopkins.

I hope he comes back strong though. He is a good guy and a good fighter.

        I did

Pavlik is very good fighter and a nice, humble, classy guy...it was hard watch him get schooled and embarrased.

Yet you have no trouble calling him a bum and making a thread titled "white American boxers suck" and ****ting all over him in general after his loss. Whatever man. You did the same thing with Hatton when he lost to Mayweather.

Going in I was rooting for Pavlik. I wanted the young fighter to win thinking that would be best for boxing. Furthermore I felt Hopkins was a spoiler while Pavlik was an exiting kayo-artist.

Well after 2 rounds I found myself rooting for the old guy. It was one of those feel-good nights that only boxing can produce.

Do I feel sorry for Pavlik? Naah. Not many can do what Hopkins did. He got a fortune from this fight and he's still the MW champion. He'll be back better and stronger from this.

He lost a fight. No big deal. He's still a very capable fighter.

I was upset because I bet tons of money on Pavlik and he let me down. I was also drunk when I made that thread

I still like pavlik and I hope he can make a successful comeback

I definitely feel sorry for him, he lost in the ring, he didn't know what to do.
