Anybody else feel sorry for pavlik???

Anyone feel sorry for pavlik while watching the fight??? I really feel sorry for him especially at the end of the fight when his team all came out to fight hopkins, He gave a look of a man who knew he was truely beaten, I really felt sorry seeing that.

    Anyone else???

I felt sorry for him, he could barely land a punch and was just getting owned all night even though he was trying his best. Though he focused more on trash talking with Calzaghe than the actual fight with Hopkins so in a way he deserved it.

Yeah a little. He was in a state of shock, and I believe he kind of gave up trying. He seriously didn't look like himself, but it's great that Hopkins came over and talked to him, telling him not to let this fight break him.

That was his team trash talking not Pavlik, I respect Pavlik cuz when everyone tied to him, his trainer his team, SOME of his hometown fans showed how disrespectful and unprofessional they were Pavlik, mentally beaten, still didnt quit, still fought and still was humble.

Loses happen, lets not forget Bernard loss his first ever fight, that didnt hold him back did it?

He was truly shell shocked, so yeh I felt a bit sorry for him. Not too much to be honest though because he knew going in to, you have to accept results at that level and learn from them. He seems to recognise he's limited when he said I felt like a sub novice in there but then just blamed other stuff. I think he'll be doing some real thinking and soul searching, and will be better for it. It's damn good experience. Plus hopefully he'll mix his training team and styles up.

Thats what i dislike about boxers, I which they would concentrate on the fighter in front of them instead of believing the media-hype and taking their eye off the ball.

I did, he seems like a nice guy and it never makes easy viewing to see a nice guy get schooled like that.
