And yea, Calzaghe is a coward he would never rematch Hopkins. This is why Hopkins is so awesome..he fights anyone at anytime.
Woah -- stop right there. Hopkins ducked Calzaghe in 2002 by pricing himself out of a fight he'd already agreed to, 3 days before the contract was due to be signed. FACT.

Calzaghe has been calling out Hopkins since about 7 years ago. I have video evidence.

Your bias is showing, and it's pretty transparent.

And yes, Hops got his old trainer back, ****m Richardson, for last night's fight. ****m had a stroke and recovered. Now he's back in the mix.

Radical. Who'd have thought. Someone won one fight and lost another, because of the style matchups and events in the ring, paritularly from the opponent. What a concept.
depends on which hopkins shows up.

You gotta look at the fact that who B-Hop fights. There's a reason why Bernard TRIED to potshot Calzaghe. He saw something he couldn't commit to wen fighting Joe. Calzaghe is no Pavlik, Trinidad, Tarver, Winky. His footwork may not look good, but its unorthodox as hell.

Well yere it has, you posted something ridiculous I challenged it.

You really are clutching at straws mate if all you can say is Pavlik stayed on his feet LOL
I never claimed that Pavlik > Calzaghe. if you check all my post on the subject I've always said that I think cAlzaghe would beat pavlik.

          stick to boxing please.

I ain't Joe's biggest fan but the ****er is good at what he does. Watching Hopkins - Pavlik just illustrates that. Joe wasn't at his best against Hopkins but still won, and Hopkins goes and does that to Pavlik!?! I know styles make fights but ****ing hell!
good point, but that was a different Hopkins that fought Calzaghe.

I agree, it would mean that Calzaghe would have to nut up for a rematch.

No worries, I realized it was a mis-quote.

Ok bro, we'll have to agree to disagree. What I saw was an exceptional ability to time Hopkins and adjust.

I understand that calzaghe is a whole other sack of awkwardness, but we are talking about Hopkins here. There's a potshotting Hopkins, a mauling/dirty Hopkins and the supreme boxer Hopkins who actually throws combinations.

the Hopkins that joe faced was the potshoting Hopkins... we know this because that has been Hopkins' style since tito.

Styles make fights, yea, true. but Hopkins doesn't just have 1 style.
