My thoughts on Pavlik tonight

Ok like Ive said before on this board I've known Kelly for years. And right now I can tell you that i'm stunned and confused on what happend in that ring tonight. For starters I have no idea why Kelly wasn't throwing punches, he usually throws between 70 and 100 punches per round. Is Hopkins that good on defence that he didnt feel comfortable throwing a clean shot? Maybe... Like I said i have no idea. I noticed something wasn't right a minute into the first round, and things never got better.

Youngstown Ohio is behind Kelly now more than ever. Mark my words, we will stay behind our champ. He had an off night bottom line. It happens to every professional athlete once in a while. I've seen Michael Jordan and Lebron James have off nights. Why should boxing be different? Things didn't click tonight. No excuses tho Hopkins proved he is a legend once again tonight and Youngstown Ohio respects him. Im out! GO TEAM PAVLIK!

By now you should have known that Hopkins and Floyd Mayweather are the best defensive fighters and Tony of this generation.B Hop and Floyd will take away your best weapon and you have to fight number 2 fight plan.Unfortunately for Kelly he only has a jab and when B Hop took it away Kelly had nothing else to offer but his face to be busted.I like Kelly,great guy but BHop is just too good.He has offered so much to this sport.

B Hop did say after the fight had been signed that he would take away Kelly's jab and show him angles he had never seen before.Same with Floyd eg when he fought Oscar,he took away Oscar's famed left hook and jab and the game plan had to change.

A 26 year old moves up a weight class and a half to fight a P4P top 5, all time great and takes a 12UD loss. Wasnt knocked out wasnt even knocked down. Hes 26, this will just be a speed bump.
